The official count is in for last Wednesday's public consutatiion. A total of 931 people registered. Given that there were quite a few people who did not bother registering, we can safely say we were close to 1000. Incredible.

The meeting on Wednesday was a great start and certainly confirmed that trucks and commuter traffic needs are more important in this process than people.
Question, there is a coalition of community associations which is excellent, will representatives from the RCMP musical ride, Police college, Rockcliffe Airport, Montfort hospital and other concerned parties- school parent councils, local business associations be part of a larger collaborative effort? I may have missed it at Wednesday's meeting but I did not see any representatives from these locations except for the Rockcliffe boat club.
PS the buttons are great and i have had many people talk to me about the bridge as a result
Great effort by everyone.

A BIG THANKS to Gisele and Alan (and the rest of the group) for making the amazing eye catching buttons. It had a great psychological effect on making the crowd feel unified behind a common cause.

Great last minute effort, talk about rallying the troops! :)

We think the numbers are closer to 900 and are planning to confirm with the consultants for our records.

It was an amazing turn-out! Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out and stand up for our communities.
